

Estimating consequences of a fall of a container with a steam generator onto a platform of the rotating reactor roof in the BN-1200
Abstract
The main results of the computational analysis of the consequences of a fall of a container with a steam generator onto a platform of the rotating reactor roof have been presented. The results of experimental studies of deformation of steel St3 (Cт3) under static and dynamic loadings have been given. Parameters of Johnson–Cook model of LS-DYNA library used to perform computational analysis have been determined. The main results are presented that have been calculated in the elastoplastic formulation for stress-strain state of the rotating reactor roof, and the evaluations are provided of the reactor roof strength and operability.
